SO...THAT happened lol
   Had a stellar art table this year. Lots of the product was made kinda last minute because when they didn't let me sign up until June, I kind of thought I had missed the deadline. I had a bunch of art out, some new stuff too...some of which I have yet to post on here.
   New this year was all the sewing stuff I did. I do a lot of costume sewing or commission, but that's hard to have for sale at a con art table. I did collaborate with some other artists and we came out with some fancy embroidered dice bags...and also PONY bags!
   So I have to make a comment about the pony bags. Firstly, I wish I had made more. I had a twighlight sparkle, rarity and pinkie pie themed bag. I wish I had done all of the latest generation! DJ Pon3 included! I had no idea how popular they would be and I feel like I didn't do the fans enough service here. I will be making more. I think I'll set up an etsy site to sell them on. Secondly, I not that I also made 2 bags from Gen1 ponies Fizzy and Galaxy. Not only did no one care, but some people felt it necessary to inform me that none but the latest generation was any good! Personally I feel that all of the generations in between 1 and 5 (the latest) were lacking, but that's beside the point. What is the point here is that all these bronies and other fans might not be appreciating the roots of this series! I will grant them that they were young boys at the time and could not be caught dead watching my little ponies on tv, but it's totally available on dvd now. Go ahead, embrace the ridiculousness that was the first generation! Love all it's whimsical characters and be scared by the terrifying man-goat-demon-beast adversaries! ...also the bee adversaries Understand where your culture came from. Learn even more inside jokes to share with other pony fans.
   I will be posting new things soon and trying to post more of my adventures in stitchery.
   I hope I get to go to more cons soon, with or without a table. I have a sweet rainbow dash costume planned and this ridiculous urge to write pony fanfiction.
